I worked with LeVon Designs Homes to design my new custom home. I had no previous experience having a custom home designed and built so I didn’t know what to expect. LeVon’s professionalism, courteousness, patience, and understanding personality made it an easy and enjoyable process. When we started, I really only knew I wanted an open floor plan. We do a lot of entertaining (40-50 people at a time). I communicated this to LeVon and he designed the home to easily and comfortably handle 60 people. His design process began with him asking plenty of questions to thoroughly understand my needs in my new home. He then created a design that I never would have thought of that exceeded my expectations. For example, he included vaulted ceilings in the Living Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen so the spaces don’t feel too confined when I am entertaining. He even included additional outlets in the Kitchen because he knew I would need to be able to plug in additional cooking appliances while entertaining. He also produced a site plan showing a wider driveway so we would have more room for parking during gatherings. He designed a private secondary bedroom suite with 2 bedrooms and a bath that can be easily closed off from the rest of the home, which works great for how I live in my home. My mother, who is a senior citizen and also lives in the home, uses a walker. Understanding my mother’s desire to be as independent as possible, LeVon developed a doorless, roll-in shower in her bathroom so she would be able to easily use it. LeVon promptly addressed any questions or concerns that I had during the design process. He also visited the site during construction, and was available to answer questions if they arose. Through his design ability, LeVon has truly created a sanctuary that I can enjoy for years to come. He designed my dream home! He is always my first recommendation whenever I meet someone who is interested in having a custom home designed.
